Terms of Service

1. Services

Dr Khalid Shamiyah provides mentoring, career guidance, CV review, and mock interview services for high school students, medical students, and junior doctors. All sessions are conducted remotely via video conferencing.

2. Booking and Payment

  • All bookings must be paid in advance via our secure payment system
  • Payment is processed through Stripe and subject to their terms and conditions
  • Session times are confirmed via email after booking and payment
  • Sessions are scheduled based on mutual availability

3. Cancellation and Rescheduling

  • Cancellations made at least 48 hours before the scheduled session are eligible for a full refund
  • Cancellations made less than 48 hours before the session may not be refunded
  • Rescheduling is available with at least 24 hours notice, subject to availability
  • No-shows without prior notice forfeit the session fee

4. Professional Relationship

The services provided are for educational and career guidance purposes only. This is not a doctor-patient relationship, and no medical advice is provided. The guidance offered is based on professional experience but does not guarantee specific outcomes or results.

5. Confidentiality

Information shared during sessions is kept confidential. However, this is not a therapeutic relationship and does not fall under medical confidentiality regulations. Materials you share (CVs, applications) will only be used for the purpose of providing feedback.

6. Intellectual Property

All materials, advice, and feedback provided during sessions remain for your personal use. You may not reproduce, distribute, or resell any materials or recordings without written permission.

7. Limitation of Liability

While we strive to provide high-quality guidance, we cannot guarantee specific outcomes such as acceptance to medical school, job offers, or exam success. Our liability is limited to the amount paid for the specific service.

8. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these terms at any time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated revision date. Continued use of our services constitutes acceptance of any changes.
